Occupied with Economic Justice?

Occupied with Economic Justice? We’d like as many people as possible to Occupy the Library for the next Peace Fellowship Adult Ed series January 8 th – Feb 12 th .   We’ll be exploring topics of economic justice, the Occupy movement, and what these topics mean to Christians, and what we as Christians can do.   Below is a brief outline of anticipated topics. Dates may change as speaker availability is confirmed. January 8 th – Inside Job – Excerpts from this documentary on what went wrong that caused the economic meltdown, and what it means to us as Christians will be shown and discussed. How this has led to economic justice issues and the Occupy movement. January 15 th – An Economist from the UW may be available to give some perspective on the current economic situation, imbalances, and impacts to the poorest.   What we can expect in the near future, and what it could take to move to positive territory.   January 22 nd – The Occupy Movement – what’s it about and
