Crock-Pot Cook-Off and Dance Saturday October 19th

Come one, come all! Dinner begins 5:30, dancing for all begins 6:30.  Our Crock-Pot Cook-Off is both a contest and a delicious dinner with lots of different delectable salads and dishes made by all of us. If you’re a cook, please bring your food entry to Fellowship Hall by 5:30. We also need lots of people of all ages to come taste the dishes, vote on favorites, and enjoy a good dinner in good company.  For The Dance— we’ll have contras and squares for dancers of all ages. Suzanne Girardot, a square dance, contra dance and family dance caller for more than 20 years, will be calling this year’s Family Dance.  Suzanne has a nice style of calling and also sings some of her dance calls.  Her husband Jerry Berger played fiddle for us last year and will again be joining Jim Rymsza on guitar to play for the dance as the Ravenna Ramblers. Don’t cook? Come anyway to eat. Don’t dance? Come anyway to watch and enjoy the music.  -Anne Hay, Membership Dept.
