Wear Red on Pentecost! - Sunday, May 19th

On the Day of Pentecost we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit descending in a mighty rush of wind and flame to inspire the church’s proclamation of Christ’s rising and to empower its mission and ministry to the world. (PCUSA, See Acts 2:1-13)  Join us at the 9:30am worship service.  The Sanctuary will be adorned with red balloons and a mobile of swirling flames and a dove.  After the service, we get to eat cupcakes!

Sunday, May 19 is our last day of Sunday School till next September.  It is Game Day for the kids' classes.  The weather is predicted to be nice, so hopefully we can be outside on the South Lawn.  Adults meet in the Library for a discussion led by Pastor Karen about the formation of scripture using the book The Bible: A Biography.
