Maundy Thursday remembers the commandment that Christ gave us, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.  Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.” (John 13:34) We also celebrate the Lord’s Supper, remembering the meal Christ shared with his disciples before his death.  The word Maundy is derived from the Latin word for command.
Join us for a meal as we remember Christ’s commandment through sharing a simple “Stone Soup” Supper and Service at 6:00pm.  Please contribute a can of soup (vegetable or meat-based).  We’ll cook them all together and make several types of delicious soup for all to share.
