Treehouse Donation Drive

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. However, this time of year can be tough for kids in foster care. While many kids are eagerly waiting to open their gifts, youth in foster care will be gearing up to face the ongoing challenge of celebrating the season without parents, relatives or siblings. When you live in foster care you’re never sure if you’ll wake up to find a gift with your name on the tag. Fortunately, we can make a difference. Tha t is why Wedgwood Presbyterian is hosting a Christmas donation drive. Your donations will help stock the Treehouse Wearhouse, a free store where youth can shop for toys, warm clothes, books and other essential items. Here’s how you can help. *Pick up a gift tag from the table in the Narthex. *Purchase a new toy or warm clothing. *Make a monetary donation. *Spread the word. No time to shop? Donate online or mail your check to Treehouse 21200 24th Ave S., Suite 200, Seattle WA 98144 or you can drop

This video series will introduce this basic rhythm of life all Presbyterians are asked to be a part of. Lesson 1: A People of Grace – for Presbyterians the first thing we need to know is that God is a God of Grace. This truth affects every aspect of our life. (October 25) Lesson 2: Wicked Bad – why do we talk about sin and evil? Are we saying that we’re wicked bad? Are we the worst of the worst? (November 1) Lesson 3: Who do they say that I am? – We are asked to name Jesus as our “Lord and Savior.” What does that really mean? (November 8) Lesson 4
