On Friday evening, October 23, the Peace Fellowship movie series, Thoughtful Theater, will be showing the biographical film "Luther" (2003), which tells the story of Martin Luther and the origins of the Reformation. The movie stars Joseph Fiennes (as Martin Luther), Alfred Molina, and Peter Ustinov. The movie starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room...popcorn and drinks will be provided. Join us for another outstanding presentation.

Help Needed - We need volunteers to help sort and shelve canned goods that were collected during the Mayors' Day of Concern for the Hungry which was on Saturday, September 26. A group of us will be going to the Emergency Feeding Program warehouse on Friday, October 16 at 3:00 p.m. to help in this (monumental) task. They have received on the order of 50 barrels of canned goods that must be sorted and shelved before they can be distributed. WE NEED YOUR HELP ! We'll leave (carpool) Wedgwood Presbyterian around 2:40 pm and work until around 5:00 that afternoon. Please join us. Contact Cil Pierce for more information.

Elementary Fellowship meets at 6:00pm. Activities follow a delicious meal of baked ravioli tonight! Elementary Fellowship is for kindergarten through fifth grade children, ages five through ten (ages as of 9/1/09). Friends are welcome!
